Jason Ellis spent his career in IT before he ever cleaned a house for money. His first job was at AccessUS, a small internet service provider, and from there he worked in technology at Bank of America, Mastercard and other large companies. At 50 he left corporate work to become an entrepreneur: he started a residential cleaning company in San Diego, then a second one in St. Louis, and today runs a software company that helps local business owners be found online. Home Pros Directory grew out of that work. Listings use saved public business records. Service details are shown only where supported by reviewed source statements; a listing is not an endorsement.
Why this directory exists
This directory brings California business records together so readers can compare contact details, recorded locations, ratings and review counts. A city list can include businesses based in smaller nearby towns; those locations are identified separately.
Jason Ellis publishes Home Pros Directory. Basic inclusion is free. Paid positions are marked, and payment does not establish service quality or verify a business claim.
How listings are compiled
Listings were selected from saved public business records. Names, categories and recorded locations describe that snapshot; they do not establish that a business is currently available.
A service or business-policy label reflects a reviewed statement in a saved source. Insurance and bonding are separate claims, and neither is independently verified here. Missing labels mean the information has not been confirmed here.
The directory contains 1,884 records in 177 California cities and 31 smaller towns. This directory was compiled on 2026-11-01; that date is not a fresh check of each business.
Owners can request a listing correction for free. Ownership needs to be checked before an owner request changes the record. Paid placements are marked wherever they appear and are not endorsements.
