Licensed and insured, verified at listing
Before a contractor is listed we verify an active business license and general liability insurance carrying a one-million-dollar minimum. Coverage is confirmed at listing, not self-reported on a profile page.
References checked, not just collected
Applicants provide customer references from the market they want to serve, and we contact them. A meaningful share of applicants don't make it through — the listing is the point of the vetting, so an empty slot beats a weak one.
Flat monthly listing fee — no per-lead bidding

Yes. Submitting a request costs nothing and carries no obligation. Listed contractors pay a flat monthly fee for their category, which is what funds the directory — you are never charged for a match or a quote.
How many contractors will contact me?
Only pros whose trade and service area match your request. Because listings are flat-fee rather than per-lead auctions, there is no incentive to blast your details to a dozen companies — that bidding-war model is the thing this directory exists to avoid.
How are the contractors vetted?
Every listed pro is verified for an active business license and general liability insurance with a one-million-dollar minimum, and provides customer references from the market they serve, which we contact. Applicants who don't clear those checks are declined.
What areas do you cover?
Requests are accepted nationwide across every service category. The San Diego and St. Louis metros have the deepest coverage — dedicated pages for individual cities and suburbs, written to the local housing stock. Elsewhere, start from the service category page for your trade.
What happens after I submit the form?
Your request is routed to matched pros in your area, who reach out to you directly to discuss the job and quote it. You compare and choose — nothing is booked on your behalf, and no quote is binding until you agree to it.
How do contractors get listed?
Apply through the Pro Network page, or review open categories and pricing on the List Your Business page. Verification takes about a business day to start, and a listing goes live within five business days of onboarding.
